It's that time of year again... the days are getting shorter, the first festive lights are starting to twinkle, and you've got to start planning that Christmas party. Whatever sort of festive knees-up you're planning, these buzzing Camden venues will make sure you sleigh it. We're talking world-class entertainment, incredible festive feasting, and enough cocktails to get even the biggest Scrooge onto the dance floor.

Here's what you've got to look forward to...

Cabaret, contortionists and Christmas classics at FEST

Get ready for The Greatest Show at FEST Camden, the 200 year-old former horse hospital that's been transformed into one of north London's quirkiest party destinations (and that's saying something!) As you dig in to a delicious three-course feast with all the trimmings, you're immersed in a dazzling world of entertainment. Expect West End singers, acrobats, contortionists, cabaret, and even magic performed right at your table. And if all that gives you a taste for the limelight, there's a chance to dance the night away to the tunes of FEST's in-house DJ.

Panto heroes and party vibes at Dingwalls

Have yourself a delightfully camp Christmas do at Dingwalls. The canalside venue, which has been a staple of Camden's music scene since the 1970s, offers up Dinglebells, billed as the ultimate, dine, party, and variety show mash up. Wear stretchy trousers in preparation for a set menu that features all of your favourite festive nosh, to be devoured as pantomime characters and London's variety stars perform near your table. With audience participation aplenty, it's a cracking way for the team to come together.

Christmas with a Cuban twist at Gabeto

Gabeto's festive offering has a fabulous Latin flavour, with salsa acts, samba dancers and drummers entertaining you as you eat. The vibrant brasserie's Cuban roots are also reflected in its Christmas menu — think chipotle baked camembert with cranberry jelly, mojo roasted turkey, and churros dipped in mint chocolate sauce. Salud!

South African flavours in a spectacular setting at Shaka Zulu

If you want to really dazzle your party guests, the intricate wood carvings, tiger print upholstery, and giant Zulu statues that decorate Shaka Zulu should do the trick. The spectacular venue presents a festive set menu with a South African twist, and the cocktails aren't too shabby, either (we'll have the Safari Martini, if you're buying). Plus, there's plenty of entertainment on offer, ranging from aerial acts, to fire dancers, to snake charmers.
