Tottenham Court Road's New Entrance Is Open

After 12 months of major renovations, the puzzle that is Tottenham Court Road station is coming together. From today, passengers can use the 15m-tall glass entrance (see image), that's adjacent to Centre Point.

The space around Centre Point itself is in the process of being transformed into a plaza which, when completed, will have a 'twin' London Underground entrance facing that one that opened today.

From Monday (7 December) Central line trains will run to and from the station.

We recently went behind the scenes of Tottenham Court Road's new Central line station. Check out the video here.
