Jugglers, Jungles And Jurassic: Unique Perspectives Of London

Londonist is proud media partner to London Transport Museum's Prize for Illustration 2015. We will be bringing you snapshots and stories behind the illustrations throughout the exhibition’s run.

Since the latest Jurassic Park saga was released, London has been invaded by dinosaurs (okay, not literally). We wonder whether artist Cat Neligan was inspired by the prehistoric blockbuster for her illustration Dinosaurs on Piccadilly.

You can see hers and many more colourful, unique illustrations at London Transport Museum's current exhibition Prize for Illustration 2015. This year's show is devoted to London's places and spaces, highlighting the best public spaces everyone can enjoy in our city.

This gallery of images represents unique and creative views of central London: from the colourful folk in Trafalgar Square to children frolicking in the fountains of Somerset House, and from a jungle-like Barbican Conservatory to jugglers in Covent Garden.

The Prize for Illustration 2015: London Places and Spaces exhibition is at London Transport Museum, Covent Garden, until 6 September 2015. Entry to the museum costs £16 or £13.50 for concessions and allows unlimited daytime access to all exhibitions and events for 12 months from date of purchase. Children go free.
