Free Outdoor Film Screenings In Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens

vauxhall

Four free outdoor film screenings take place in the secluded setting of Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens this summer.

Every Tuesday in July, arrive from 7pm to grab your spot on the grass and kick back with your friends to watch Zoolander (7 July), Clueless (14 July) or Dazed and Confused (21 July).

The fate of the final screening, taking place on 28 July, is down to you. There's a choice of three films; The Breakfast Club, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, or Spice World The Movie. Cast your vote for free online, and turn up on the day to see which flick won. For London connections alone, we're not-so-secretly rooting for Spice World, because who doesn't want to see that Union Jack bus jump Tower Bridge again?

All screenings are free, and there's no need to book — space is on a first come first served basis. Bring a blanket from home or buy one on site, or for true cinematic luxury, rent a Vauxhall Village deck chair for £5. Street food vendors will be on site to tempt you.

Summer Screen 2015 takes place Tuesdays: 7, 14, 21 and 28 July. Arrive from 7pm — screening begins at sundown.
