Fixies, DJs And Beer: Spin LDN Urban Bike Show Is Back

A FIXED WHEEL BIKE

Cyclists will once again be getting themselves into a Spin as London’s urban bike show returns this year, in a new west-London location.

Spin LDN takes place between 8-10 May, homed this year in the cavernous 70 sq ft space of the Sorting Office on New Oxford Street.

Recent reports on the death of the Hipster may perhaps be premature as fixie manufacturers feature on a roll-call of 60 exhibitors. Also turning up will be the likes of Brompton — king of the commuting bike — high-end manufacturers like Canyon, the snazzy clothing brand Rapha and a sea of other exhibitors offering cycling related goodies and accessories to pimp you, your home and your ride.

The event isn’t all about people trying to flog you gear though. There are also DJs, a test track, street food, BMX demonstrations, cycle-related art, craft beer and expert talks. Who said cycling was just about turning the cranks?

Tickets are £10 in advance or £12.50 if you roll up on the day.
