Chorus 2015 begins at Southbank Centre

GARDEN PHOTOGRAPHY: The International Garden Photographer of the Year exhibition is on at Kew Gardens, with photographers from around the world exhibiting in a variety of categories, from the traditional choices of plants and wildlife to the monochrome and the microscopic. £15, until 6 April

CHORUS 2015: Southbank Centre's Chorus 2015 festival brings thousands of singers together across the Easter weekend and beyond to perform and learn. Hug is also part of the festival. Until 12 April

JAZZ IN THE ROUND: On the last Monday of every month, Cockpit Theatre near Edgware Road hosts a night of jazz and contemporary music. £12, prebook, 6pm

FREEDIVING CHAMPION: British Champion and World Championship medalist freediver Liv Philip shares her experiences of freediving at The Trampery on Old Street, along with videos and photos. £6, prebook, 6.30pm

FILM CLUB: The Duke Mitchell Film Club presents an early April Fools Special, showcasing the worst, strangest and downright oddest films and trailers. The main features is 1991 Canadian thriller film, Mountain Fury. Free, RSVP on Facebook, 7pm

FREE COMEDY: Head to Aces and Eights in Tufnell Park for an evening of brand new sketch and character comedy from Alison Thea Skot and Fraser Millward. Free, prebook,7.30pm

CHARITY COMEDY: The comedy world celebrates the impact immigration has had on the British Comedy industry at We Love Immigration at Bloomsbury Theatre. Performances from Nish Kumar, Mike Wozniak and Bec Hill, among others. Proceeds to the Migrants Rights Network. £20, prebook, 7.30pm

COCKNEY SINGALONG: Join in a traditional singalong with piano accompaniment at Wilton’s Music Hall. Expect ditties from the Music Hall era, WWI and II, the West End stage. Pay what you want (minimum £1), prebook, 8pm

TONIGHT'S DINNER: Forget fish Fridays; it's Monday and we want fish and chips. It's a tricky dish to get right, but these London restaurant and eateries do a sterling job.


Good Cause of the Day

Brandenburg Choral Festival is supporting the Bat Conservation Trust through a jazz evening at St-Sepulchre-Without-Newgate on Holborn Viaduct tonight. Tickets are £18 (£5 children) and need booking in advance.
