Motoring magazine Classic & Sports Car has joined forces with Haymarket Exhibitions to bring some of the world's best loved classic cars to Alexandra Palace this autumn.

The inaugural Classic & Sports Car – The London Show will feature 300 iconic cars as well as an automotive art gallery, displays of historic racing cars and lots of other exhibits designed to appeal to the capital's vintage motoring enthusiasts. It's also perfectly timed to coincide with other high-profile London motoring events, such as the 119th London to Brighton Veteran Car Run on 1 November and the Regent Street Motor Show, which opens on 31 October.

The event also has some famous faces lending their support —  motor racing legend Sir Stirling Moss OBE said:

“To me, London is the centre of the world and it is essential that it has a top-quality classic car show. Alexandra Palace is the perfect venue and, with Classic & Sports Car being the world leader in its field, it is an event people should definitely add to their diaries.”

The only world champion on two and four wheels John Surtees and racing driver-turned-TV presenter Alain de Cadenet have called the show an unmissable event. Classic & Sports Car group editor James Elliott said:

“Whether you’re one of the world’s richest collectors, a classic car dealer or simply a classic car enthusiast, you’ll be warmly welcomed at Alexandra Palace.”

Classic & Sports Car – The London Show will run from 30 October to 1 November at Alexandra Palace, tickets go on sale on 1 June.
