Mapped: Climate Camp Swoop Sites, Today At Noon

Some will condone, some condemn the Climate Camp activity, which begins today. Whichever side of the divide you're on, you might be interested to know whether any of the demonstrating parties are moving through your neighbourhood. The map shows the starting point locations where protesters will 'swoop' at noon today. A seventh group, known as 'Orange' will be decentralised and members are asked to 'choose their own adventure'. After midday, all groups will converge on a central, as-yet undisclosed location for a week-long camp in the name of sustainable living. You can follow the progress on the official Twitter feed, and thousands of others.

12.50: The groups in St James' Square (BP HQ) and Waterloo (Shell HQ) are on the move. Routes will be plotted in the Google Map. Any info, please Tweet Londonist, or add a comment. Unconfirmed rumours suggest final camp will have 'great views'. Our tip: Blackheath, as an historical nod to the Peasants Revolt. Or Primrose Hill, to be right under the noses of London's richest.

13.30 Climate Camp location is rumoured to be just North of the Royal Albert Docks (see map).

13.35 Rumours now flying that camp location is Hackney Marshes, and St James' Park. Excellent confusion.

13.40 Police say it's true that their command base is at City Airport, but still have no information on location of Climate Camp. Turns out this was a spoof message.

14.30 Sky News still insisting site is Greenwich Park. Consensus on Twitter is Blackheath.
