This pub was editorially chosen for inclusion by Londonist.
London's seven (and counting) Draft Houses are all run to the same formula, but it's a formula more excellent that the Frosties Secret Formula, so we're happy to include several entries. The main thing is the beer — mostly kegged — which comes in many happy and unusual forms. Several are extra-strong, so measures come in two-thirds and even thirds. The increasingly common Weird Beard brewery's stout took our fancy, but the London Fields double IPA (at a eye-watering 7.2%) really got us excited. Liquid Mistress is always good to see.
The main bar area is tiny, with little more than benches (in the company's trademark green) round the windows. There's a slightly larger room round the back for dining on the usual hotdogs and hamburgers menu beloved of this chain. Or you can spill out onto the pavement if the weather cooperates.
