Join Us Tonight At Late London: Sonic City

Still no plans for this evening? How about joining us at a new immersive sound installation at Museum of London Docklands?

Bridging the World is a new addition to the Bridge exhibition at Museum of London Docklands. The installation invites you to listen to voices from across the world, naming bridges current and forgotten.  You can see and (more importantly) hear it tonight at Late London: Sonic City, at Museum of London Docklands, between 7 and 10pm.

Tonight's late isn't just an opportunity to experience the installation and visit Bridge — it's a full-on Friday night party, with improvised performances, listening, drawing and tasting activities. Plus Londonist will be there, asking you to help us make a sound collage of the city.

Want a taster of Bridging the World? Our very own N Quentin Woolf went along to meet its artist, Scanner, at his Bethnal Green studio. Listen to them chat in the mini-podcast above.

Use our two tickets for the price of one offer: order your tickets from Museum of London website and enter the promotion code LONDONIST241 when prompted.

Late London: Sonic City takes place at the Museum of London Docklands, No. 1 Warehouse, East India Quay, E14 4AL on Friday 5 September, 7-10pm. Standard tickets £8.

Our weekly podcast, Londonist Out Loud is presented and produced by N Quentin Woolf. You can listen in-browser, or subscribe via iTunes or RSS. We’re also available on Stitcher.
