Londonist Out Loud: A Podcast For London, 5 December 2011

Welcome to the latest episode of Londonist Out Loud, a podcast about London. You can listen in-browser, or subscribe via iTunes or RSS.

News and Views
Londonist Out Loud is presented and produced by N Quentin Woolf. This week's show comes from the Coach and Horses pub in Covent Garden, where NQW is joined by cab drivers Bill Ward, Dickie Hudd, Reg Hay and Dick Goodwin of the London Taxi Benevolent Association for War Disabled.

The guests discuss their charity, which takes ex-servicemen and women on taxi excursions. They then talk over recent London news and features, including the abusive woman on a South London tram, the unusual cases London Fire Brigade has tackled in the past year, and the recent strikes and protests.

What’s On In London
NQW rounds up the best new exhibitions and shows opening over the coming week.

London Unfurled
Your host speaks to Matteo Pericoli about London Unfurled, an incredible drawing that includes every building on the Thames between Hammersmith and Greenwich. A (very) small section is shown above.
