Win Tickets To The Premiere Of Washing Machine - The Movie

Here's a new film to get you into a lather; Washing Machine - The Movie sees the cycle of a washing machine turned into slow cinema.

The 66-minute feature film shows the full uncensored, moment-by-moment footage of a full wash cycle, captured in a single shot. It's accompanied by a musical score written by respected composer Michael Nyman, best-known for his music for The Piano. The dramatic score is said to be inspired by the poetic monotony of the spinning drum.

The unique project sees art meet technology to launch Samsung's QuickDriveâ„¢, a washing machine which cuts laundry time in half. Samsung reckons cinema audiences, who have been overwhelmed by fast-paced action films and OTT special effects in recent years, will be receptive to the calming monotony of this new release.
