Dust off your wands, and get your robes ready — after the summer break, Wizarding School is back in session, and there's a Harry Potter themed party to celebrate.
The 'first day at school' party marks the first day of term at 'Wizarding School' (yes, yes, we all know it's Hogwarts, but the organisers are reluctant to call it that, no doubt for copyright reasons). Don't be fooled by the event's name though — it's a strictly adults-only affair, with plenty of butterbeer available to see things along.
We're also promised tables for playing Quidditch pong, a drinking game combining the fineries of Quidditch with the sheer chaos of beer pong. Snitches will fly, spells will be cast, and potions will be downed. Fancy dress is encouraged, but not compulsory, and DJs will be playing RnB, hip hop, house and disco tunes throughout the evening.
The Harry Potter party takes place at The Grand, 21-25 St John's Hill, Clapham, SW11 1TT on Saturday 1 September 2018. Entry is £10, or join the guestlist for free entry and queue jump. Private areas also available to book.
