To celebrate the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, plenty more paraphernalia from the Wizarding World has been conjured up. House of MinaLima (Soho), free, just turn up, permanent addition

40° CELSIUS: Take in the work of 40 artists at this massive open submission exhibition. Our Visual Arts Editor Tabish had the auspicious task of judging this year's entries. ASC Art House Gallery (Croydon), free, just turn up, 16-23 November

SKIN TO SKIN: Eerily reminiscent of human skin, Heidi Bucher's delicate latex castings of butcher's shops, bodies and dragonflies are well worth a look. See them alongside a series of films documenting the late artist in action. Parasol Unit (Old Street), free, just turn up, until 9 December

ANATOMY OF DESIRE: Dalston-based artist Minju Kim explores the human body in her first solo show, comprised of 60 pieces. Works range from abstract paintings of innards to resin and glue stick sculptures of a female torso. Gallery Different (Fitzrovia), free, just turn up, 19-24 November

Monday 19 November

Bill Oddie goes potty at St Paul's

THE BIG SQUAT: It may be 2018, but 1 billion women and girls across the world still don't don't have access to proper toilet facilities. Sanitation charity Toilet Twinning wants to change all that — join it under a giant inflatable loo, alongside school choirs, MPs and Bill Oddie OBE to raise awareness of the issue with an singalong on the steps of St Paul's. Free, just turn up, 1.15pm-2.15pm

MAKE SOME NOISE: Classical concert etiquette is all about being as quiet as possible, right? Wrong! Join Professor Tom Service for a journey into the past and explore the many ways in which audiences have listened to live music throughout history. Museum of London, free, just turn up, 6pm-7pm

RPG QUEST: Forget Dungeons & Dragons, role-playing games just got a whole lot funnier. Witness quick-fire ridiculousness as a bunch of comedians play rather daft one-shot-RPGs. You'll even get the chance to join in yourself. Camden Comedy Club, £5, book ahead, 8pm

Tuesday 20 November

ARTY UNVEILING: Self-styled craftivist Carrie Reichardt unveils a brand new artwork on the theme of gratitude at Royal Brompton Hospital, incorporating items from her recent exhibition there. LES ROASTBEEF: Brits may be known for their sense of humour, but other nationalities aren't always laughing with us. Learn all about it and then enjoy a musical performance, complete with stick on sideburns. The British Academy (St James's), free, book ahead, 7.30pm-8.45pm

Join a whole load of clever people for a chat about political culture in the post-truth era. The Marquis Cornwallis (Bloomsbury), free, book ahead, 6.30pm-8.30pm
