A Rooftop Party For Dogs (And Their Humans) Comes To London

Walkies in your local park are all well and good, but if you're the companion of a particularly discerning dog sometimes you need to mix it up a bit. Like a trip to the top of a former carpark in Wapping.

On Sunday 23 September, rooftop bar Skylight gets a mutt-themed makeover, transforming it into the perfect playground for pooches and their humans. And it's free entry.

Skylight, Tobacco Dock

You chug 2-4-1 dog-themed cocktails like the Pugtail and the Frenchie 75. Your dog feasts on posh treats, including organic biscuits from Lily's Kitchen, handmade medallions from Twinky's Bakery, and nibbles from The Dog Treat Company that quite frankly sound better than our go-to weekday lunches (salmon, beetroot and dill, anyone?)

You might want to make sure your hound doesn't over do it though, so they can be their absolute best selves for the Instagram photo competition — there's talk of prizes.

If that's not enough for you, the bar boasts three floors of booze, street food, games and entertainment. So why choose between hanging out with your fur baby and day drinking when you can have both?

Skylight's Dog Day takes place noon-6pm on Sunday 23 September, with 2-4-1 cocktails available noon-4pm
