If you were dropped down on a completely random London street, do you think you'd know where you were? Weird hypothetical we know, but stick with us for a minute here. Geoguessr is a game that puts your ability to recognise your local surroundings to the test, and we've rapidly found ourselves hooked.
The concept is devilishly simple. You get dropped in a arbitrary place on Google Maps Street View. You can have a look or a move about — note: you're a real fun-sponge if you try and read road signs. Then drop a pin on a map to guess where you are. The more accurate you are, the higher your score.
There are plenty of maps to try out. We suggest starting with the central London one, before moving onto the much more challenging Greater London edition.
