Whether you fancy yourself as a budding mixologist, or prefer your perfect drink to be shaken up by a pro, this celebration of all things cocktails is right up your street. Cocktails in the City will showcase over 25 of the world's best bars. Creative bartenders, inventive drinks and the finest spirits will all be under one roof for this ultimate cocktail weekender.
This three day event takes place at the impressive One Marylebone. You'll be taken on a sensory tour of the globe courtesy of Woodford Reserve, tasting recipes from Scandinavian bars flying over from Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen without even having to leave the building.
There'll be pop-up bars from the world's best hotels, as well as underground speakeasies and hidden gems. Cocktails stalwarts including Cahoots, Reverend JW Simpson, Artesian Bar and Three Six Six will be making an appearance, so you'll finally get to sip on one of their talked about concoctions without having to track them down.
From foolproof classics to the insanely inventive, and signature sips to daring drinks, there will be a tipple for every tastebud at Cocktails in the City. As well as a shedload of drinks for you to try (good luck deciding which ones to sample) there'll be opportunities to join activities like a make your own gin workshop with Sacred Distillery, or a rum punch mix up with The Duppy Share.
This year's event is extra special as it is the fifth anniversary of Cocktails in the City, so every bar is handpicked and absolutely top-notch. Themes for 2017 include natural and foraged ingredients, retro mixers, and a focus on in-house infusions. Some drinks may even count as one of your five a day as vegetable juices are set to replace more sugary alternatives.
Tickets for Cocktails in the City include entry and one cocktail. After that all cocktails are a rather reasonable £7.50 each — a bargain for a world-class creation from award-winning mixologists. Book your tickets here before they disappear faster than an expertly made martini — shaken not stirred, of course.
Cocktails in the City will take place at One Marylebone, 6pm-11pm, 30 March until 1 April. Tickets are £15 each and include entry and a cocktail.
