For the first time in over ten years, the Champions League Final — the biggest game in European club football — will be contested by two British teams. That means, a little under a year after everyone and their nan took to the streets to sing about 'football coming home', it is... ish.

Yes. We know. This list of places showing the final (Saturday 1 June, 1pm, FYI) is a bit redundant on the surface of things. Every pub with a television screen will show this game (or at least, they will if they have any business acumen about them). So we're singling out those special events with the best atmosphere, or that have something a little unique about them.

We'll kick things off with a list of neutral places, before delving into pubs with a definite allegiance to each team.

Champions League Final at Boxpark Wembley

It's only fitting that there's an epic party in Wembley, considering it's home to the national stadium. Boxpark cemented its own place in British football culture during last year's World Cup, becoming the number one place to get soaked in beer every time England scored.

Tickets are £10 for guaranteed entry, or free if you're willing to chance your arm.

Champions League Final at Roadhouse Covent Garden

If you're looking to make a night out of it, allow us to point you in the direction of Roadhouse Covent Garden. Your £15 ticket guarantees you entry and a beer on arrival. Obviously the game is the main event, but there's more entertainment after the game, when band Broke By Noon take to the stage and get the crowd going in an epic singalong.

Champions League Final at Bar Kick, Shoreditch

It's free entry down at Shoreditch's Bar Kick, so that means you'll need to get there early if you want a decent spot. Both before and after the game you can live out your own football dream on a smaller scale — we're talking table football, obviously.

Champions League Final at Nordic Bar

Fitzrovia's Nordic Bar is a favourite among sports obsessives, and with good reason. It's got four massive screens, a wicked Scandi themed menu (food will be served all night), and a solid selection of beers. What more could you ask for? Entry is free, but remember to book ahead to nab a table.

Champions League Final at Broadleaf, City of London

In the heart of the City, Broadleaf always draws in a big crowd for the footie, thanks to its dedicated sport lounge upstairs. A fiver guarantees you entry and a pint on arrival, or you can rock up on the day and see if you can get a spot.

Where to watch the Champions League Final if you're a Spurs fan

As you might expect, plenty of the pubs in Tottenham will be rammed full of Lilywhites. The Bricklayers Arms is one of the best, wallpapered in Spurs memorabilia. Then there's The Beehive, home to one of north London's best beer gardens if you want to soak up some sun before the game starts. Apart from that we recommend The Gilpin's Bell, The Antwerp Arms (if you want a pub with a great story) and The Elbow Room. If you can't make it to N17, try The Shakespeare in Bethnal Green.

Spurs are also showing the game in their fancy new stadium, but you need to be a One Hotspur Member to get tickets.

Where to watch Champions League Final if you're a Liverpool fan

Despite the fact that Spurs are a London club, there are plenty of Reds down here in the capital too. Here's where we expect them to congregate.

The Blue Eyed Maid in Borough has a regular Liverpool following, as does The Spread Eagle just off Oxford Street. Irish pubs are a good bet, as Liverpool have plenty of fans from the Emerald Isle. Two of the best are The Auld Shillelagh in Stoke Newington and The Alexandra in Clapham.

Furthermore if you head to any pubs in the Highbury, Chelsea, or West Ham vicinity, expect people to be supporting Liverpool there too, even though they're not Liverpool fans — we're sure you can guess why.
