Go To A Music Festival... On Top Of The O2

The O2 gets more use out of its roof than Wimbledon's Centre Court. So it's of limited surprise to hear they're now hosting a series of summer music 'festivals' atop the iconic dome.

Every Friday between 20 July and 31 August, those booked on a 7.30pm or 8.15pm climb, will find themselves greeted at The O2's summit by a mini 'festival' — including appearances from The Power of Muzik — as well as free glitter face paint, mocktails, and, er, sweets (don't remember anyone passing round the Haribo at Reading last year).

Champagne's available at extra cost — although come on The O2, if you're doing the festival experience properly, surely this should be eight pints of warm scrumpy, followed by an ill-advised fumble with a stranger in the cheapest tent you could find at Millets.

Climbers get a bonus 30 minutes time on top of The O2, to enjoy the experience (the festival, not the tent thing). Prices start from £39pp. You can book here.
