Star-Studded Foodies Festival Hits Alexandra Palace

This is a sponsored article on behalf of Foodies Festival.

Budding bakers, wannabe chefs and hungry Londoners; brace yourself for Foodies Festival.

Foodies Festival in full swing

It's taking place in the glorious grounds of Alexandra Palace over the August bank holiday weekend (26-28 August), and the schedule includes everything from cooking demos to wine tasting and even a bake off (minus Mary Berry).

This is your chance to learn from the pros at the Chef's Theatre. The star-studded line-up includes the likes of TV cook Rosemary Shrager, Michelin chefs such as Atul Kochar and Adam Simmonds, and a whole host of Masterchef finalists and restaurant owners.

Get your hands on two tickets for the price of one when you use the code FOOD241 at the checkout — even more reason to round up friends and spend a tasty weekend at this food heaven.

Inspired? Get hands on yourself at one of the workshops, or come with one of your homemade cakes to enter into the daily Foodies Bake Off competition, which will kick off in the mouthwatering Chocolate, Cake and Desserts Village.

Make your way down the Street Food Avenue for global dishes and exciting flavours — traders will be serving up everything from Asian fusion to paella,  giving you the chance to taste the world without leaving London.

Drinks are definitely on the agenda too — there'll be tipples from dedicated prosecco and gin trucks, as well as a giant Pimms teapot and more beer than you could possibly drink.

Take part in a beer tasting workshop, or learn all about food and wine pairings with TV sommelier Charles Metcalfe. Champagne tutorials and rum masterclasses are also on the agenda.

Foodies hasn't been hailed the 'Gastronomic Glastonbury' for nothing — some of London's best up and coming artists will be performing, with unsigned bands and exciting soloists taking to the stage.

There'll be masses of live music every day to get the whole family in the celebratory mood (and give you a chance to get up dancing and work off that cake). Plus, visit the Healthy Living Zone for free yoga and nutritional knowhow.

Why not bring the whole family along — Foodies is a child-friendly affair, and even boasts special classes at the Kid's Cookery School as well as games, bouncy castles and craft sessions.

Don't forget to take a taste of Foodies home — a stunning array of producers will be selling their wares, so you can stock up on award-winning chutneys and oils, and bring back out-of-this-world bakes and brownies to keep you going.

Meet and learn from the artisan producers and sample everything from smoked salmon to local cheeses — with over 200 exhibitors, you'll be spoilt for choice.

If your tastebuds are tingling, mouth watering and culinary cogs whirring, then grab your tickets for Foodies before it's too late — use code FOOD241 for 2 for 1 tickets.

Check out all the details for Foodies Festival at Alexandra Palace here —the festival runs 11-7pm on 26 and 27 August, and 11-6pm on Monday 28 August.
