On 3 December, a shedload of Santas are descending on Clapham Common for the London Santa Dash, a charity run where each participant dons a Father Christmas outfit while walking, running, scooting or strolling in aid of a good cause.

Be part of the action and raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, to help make a difference to the lives of hundreds of ill children every day. Choose either a 5k or 10k option, and get a free Santa suit on signing up.

You don't have to be a seasoned runner or a super sprinter — people of all abilities are welcome to join in on the London Santa Dash, which promises to be a super Christmassy day with activities for all the family.

It's the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. Runners will get a free mulled drink and mince pie on finishing the race, and there'll even be a snow machine and brass band to get you into the festive mood.

All money raised for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity will go towards the hospital's dedicated play team who design activities to aid kids' recovery, treatment and understanding of their illness. This team want to make the childrens' hospital stay as stress-free as possible, and help inject some fun and smiles into difficult times.

All ages are welcome — under 4s are free, 5-15 priced £15 and adults £25 a pop. You'll get a free Santa suit to wear on the day of the race. There's no minimum sponsorship amount, but they suggest £150 as a decent amount for each runner to really make a difference.
