Peggy Porschen — the pink cafe beloved by Instagrammers and photographers — has announced it is opening a second Parlour in Chelsea.

The Belgravia cake shop is best-known for its pastel pink exterior, colourful flower arch framing the door, and photogenic food and drink.

It appears that changes are also afoot in the Peggy Porschen Academy, a culinary school located opposite the Parlour in Belgravia, which has announced it is going on sabbatical from June 2019.

Little is known about the new branch yet, which was announced in a teasing Instagram post earlier today. Peggy Porschen hasn't yet responded to our request for further details, but we'll update you as soon as we know more.

What we do know is that it's located in the King's Road area, it's got the trademark pastel pink decor... and most excitingly, it's home to the company's first Pink Bar. We predict our Instagram feed will be awash with rose-hued cocktails very soon.

It's the latest in a series of excellent news for London's cakes lovers; Peggy Porchen's Belgravia neighbour Dominique Ansel is due to open a second branch in Covent Garden in spring, and Soho bakery Cutter & Squidge has opened the doors on its new City location in the Royal Exchange. Meanwhile, Elan's London takeover shows no signs of abating, with six branches of the very pink cafe now dotted around central and west London.

Follow Peggy Porschen on Instagram and Twitter for further updates on the new branch.
