Hoppy Days! This London Hotel Just Launched A Peter Rabbit Afternoon Tea

Hoppy days! A Peter Rabbit themed afternoon tea has launched in London, and it looks adorable.

The Terrace on Piccadilly — located within Le Meridien Piccadilly hotel — serves the family-friendly treats, inspired by Beatrix Potter's books, inside its Victorian glass atrium.

The menu includes savoury treats such as Mr McGregor's Garden, a mini baguette containing some of the veggies the cheeky rabbits swipe in The Tale of Peter Rabbit, and the Caught In A Twist — a smoked salmon and sun-dried tomato pinwheel.

The sweet menu is headed up by the Flower-Pot Hideout, a chamomile mousse inside an edible
chocolate pot, as well as the catching Magnificent Mushroom of strawberry ganache with a crunchy meringue stem.

Naturally, carrot cake forms part of the meal, along with the traditional scones, jam and clotted cream.

For adults, the food is served on a tiered slate planter, while younger diners receive a child-sized version in a wooden vegetable box.

Peter Rabbit Afternoon Tea at The Terrace on Piccadilly. £35 per adult/£25 per child, booking required. Available seven days a week, 12.30pm-5pm, until September 2019.
