London's First Brunch Festival Is Happening Next Month

Stacks of waffles, gallons of latte, mountains of granola: London's first brunch festival is coming to Shoreditch this September.

Happening at Old Truman Brewery on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 September, London Brunch Fest invites hungry late-risers to gorge on a panoply of drinks and dishes, designed to work perfectly in that delicious limbo between breakfast and lunch

Among the vendors serving up over the weekend are the award-winning Waffle On, Zoe's Ghana Kitchen, Mac to the Future (renowned for their unctuously cheesy carb-heavy dishes), Finest Fayre (very decent Scotch eggs) and Heck Sausages.

Worthier options are available from the likes of Real Kombucha and Stinas Granola — although if you ask us, this is all about stuffing yourself into food coma, and being ready for bed again by late afternoon.

Activities include masterclasses on how to make a good matcha, and cooking with peanut butter. All very Shoreditch. But then, nowt wrong with that once in a while.

Tickets start at £15 — although note that doesn't include any actual brunch.
