The New Boxpark Is Going To Be In... Wembley
I mean, it looks like a Boxpark, doesn't it

Is the frisson of Boxpark Croydon beginning to wear off for you? Fret not; London's third incarnation of boxy hipsterness will open next year — this one in Wembley.

Up to 29 independent food and drink operators are expected to open up shop in Wembley Park, in late 2018. That's in keeping with the model of Boxpark Croydon, which opened in October 2016, and hosts the likes of The Breakfast Club, Chillbox, Cronx Brewery and Kothu Kothu.

It's a 10-year venture between Boxpark and Quintain, the team behind the sweeping regeneration of Wembley Park.

Football and music fans are promised an 'innovative fan village experience'. Which makes us picture a breezy village inhabited by forward thinking electric fans. It's almost certainly not that though.

The first Boxpark opened in Shoreditch in 2011, and since then the brand has become known as a harbinger of gentrification in London.
