This Hidden Beer Garden In West London Has A Retractable Roof

The Prince pub in Earls Court is about to tear the roof off... quite literally.

From 25 April, its 'secret' Woodland Garden reopens — this time with a retractable roof.

At the touch of a button, drinkers can be exposed to the glorious rays of a west London summer. Or, indeed, sheltered from the miserable onslaught of a west London monsoon.

It's basically Wimbledon Centre Court, but with way more booze.

The roof is festooned in an English garden vibe — draped liberally in seasonal flowers and foliage.

As for drinks, they're pushing the Frosé (frozen Rosé) hard, while Every Monday to Friday from 4pm-7pm, selected drinks will be two for one, including gin botanicals and summer spritzers.

The Prince also welcomes new foodie offerings, including Homeslice pizza and Jefferies — serving fried and grilled chicken.

Visit the garden from 25 April at The Prince, 14 Lillie Road, SW6 1TT
