Sure as ice rinks and Christmas markets, igloos have become a staple of London's winter dining scene — and they're back for Christmas 2019.

Jimmy's Lodge, a pop-up by chef Jimmy Garcia and his team, is bring its igloo dining pods back to the riverside for Christmas 2019. It's part of the Winter season at Southbank Centre, and features four of the igloos, each seating up to 10 people for dinner or drinks.

A canopy-covered bar serving street food including burgers and street food, and an upstairs dining experience serving Alpine fondue are also part of the pop-up.

Booking isn't yet open, but we suggest signing up to the mailing list if you're keen. No word yet on whether Coppa Club is bringing back its Instagram-famous winter igloos, but if last year is anything to go by, London won't be short of an igloo or two this winter.
