Canaletto's visions of Venice are spectacular. The detail in his paintings is remarkable and brings back memories of our trips to Venice. The show also features drawings and the works of other Venetian artists of the time. They're largely a sideshow for the main event — a roomful of paintings by Canaletto that is simply stunning. We could have spent hours in there. Canaletto & The Art of Venice is on at Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace. Until 12 November, £11.
