Dedicated to making dating more fun, DoingSomething's first collaboration with Up At The O2 involves 120 single folk, an 80s dress code, a carabiner-assisted climb and fun with favourite 80s games at an altitude of 52m.
Worried that high winds will wreck your wiff waff skills? They've thought of that (a closely guarded secret, apparently). Space Hopper hopping height will be restricted to avoid a plunge into the Thames. Swingball could be unpredictable.
On descent, an 80s after-party will reacclimatise you to ground level and give you a chance to mingle with your fellow retro adventurers. We doubt there'll be a lack of things to talk about.
Want to be one of the pioneering few? It all happens on Tuesday 24 September and you'll need to be at North Greenwich for 7pm. Places are strictly limited but we have two pairs of tickets to give away to two thrill-seeking Londonist singletons.
