To truly get in the Christmas mood, there's only one thing for it; Christmas films. Plenty of places screen festive classics in the lead up to the big day — take a look below. Note: we'll be adding plenty more events for Christmas 2017 when they're announced, so keep checking back. Take a look at our Christmas in London page for further inspiration.

Backyard Cinema's Snow Kingdom

Last year, Backyard Cinema immersed audiences in a Winter Night Garden, this year it's a Snow Kingdom. We're promised secret ice caves, a frozen lake and an enchanted castle, all inside Mercato Metropolitano in Elephant & Castle. At time of writing, the line-up's only been announced until mid-November (mainly classics along the lines of Dirty Dancing, ET and Harry Potter), but we're hoping the more festive offerings will be released soon.

Festive Film & Fizz at One Aldwych

Love Actually Elf, Miracle on 34th Street, White Christmas and It's A Wonderful Life are all on the bill at these festive screenings at One Aldwych hotel. At £55, tickets aren't cheap, but they include dinner, champagne, and the screening.
