A month of art, performances, music, foreshore treasure hunts and get-on-the-river fun, it's a joyous carnival of activities to learn about and show your love for the city's stretch of the watercourse.

In anticipation of the start of September's festivities, we have an amazing competition, which will allow the winner to indulge their riverine love.

Enter, and you'll be in with the chance of seeing the best views of our beloved river from all angles: above, below and everything in between.

The winner will get a helicopter flight for two around the city; two tickets to View from the Shard; and two tickets for an incredible concert below Tower Bridge. On top of that, they can then spend a night at the luxurious Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel.

Start your winning day with an 18-minute 'London Sights' flight with The London Helicopter.

From The London Heliport, Battersea you will first travel east along the Thames, enjoying an unrivalled view of London’s landmarks all the way to Canary Wharf, and then turn around, heading west, as far as Barnes Wetland, before returning to Battersea.

Then head up to View From The Shard, where you'll be able to enjoy breathtaking views across the city from floors 68, 69 and 72 of western Europe's tallest building.

On Friday 22 September, in the evening, it's time to head underground, with a stunning subterranean concert curated by composer Iain Chambers.

The huge Victorian Bascule Chambers below Tower Bridge will host a concert by exciting vocal groups. Last year's concerts sold out: we're thrilled to offer one reader two tickets to what's sure to be a memorable show.

Finally, you can bed down in luxury at the Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel near Canary Wharf.

The London Helicopter prize consists of two seats on a shared 18-minute ‘London Sights’ flight. (Shared flights may take up to a maximum of six passengers).

The prize is valid and redeemable by calling 020 7887 2626 from six months after the date of the draw.

The prize is non-transferrable and there is no cash alternative.

Flights are usually available Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday year round.

The flight availability, both date and time, may be subject to change for weather or technical reasons. Upon this unlikely occurrence, The London Helicopter will make every reasonable effort to accommodate an alternative flight.

The View From The Shard prize consists of two tickets to The View from The Shard and must be claimed within 12 months.
