The London Eye Will Turn Gold Tonight At 9.30pm

Updated 15 August: The London Eye will once again be illuminated tonight in celebration of the Team GB medal haul.

If you're in central London tonight, look to the London Eye at 9.30pm. The Southbank attraction will turn gold in celebration of Team GB's winning ways, over in Rio.

The auric treat comes on a day when our nation secured gold in two rowing events. Helen Glover and Heather Stanning defended their Olympic title in the coxless pairs, while George Nash, Constantine Louloudis, Moe Sbihi and Alex Gregory won the men's coxless four. The wins push Team GB up into fourth place in the medals table.
