A Huge Mexican Food And Drink Festival Is Coming To London
Enjoy authentic Mexican food and drinks at Mexi Fest.

A celebration of Mexican food, drink and culture is happening in Spitafields on 10 September.

Paletas are Mexican ice lollies.

There will be loads of traditional Mexican food to try, including gorditas (small, stuffed savoury corn cakes), torta sandwiches, Mexican cheeses from south London Gringa Dairy and iced paletas (like Mexican ice pops).

Kan Kun sauces are supporting the event.

You can also tuck into Mexican candy from Mexcandy, traditional Mexican street food from Tamal UK and tequila from Tequila Fest.

The UK's only Mexican cheesemaker - Gringa Dairy - is based in Peckham.

Expect plenty of entertainment too, including giant piñatas and a replica luchador ring complete with traditional Mexican wrestlers.

Don't try this at home - traditional Mexican wrestling.

Mexi Fest is happening on 10 September from 12 - 6pm at Bishop Square, Spitalfields Market, E1 6EW. Entrance is a free check-in on Yelp or £10 donation to the charity Misión México. See all the details on the Yelp Mexi Fest website.
