RIDELONDON: Thousands of cyclists take to London's streets this weekend for a variety of cycling events, culminating in a 100 mile ride out to Surrey on Sunday. Be aware of potential road closures, and if you're out and about, why not take some time to cheer the cyclists on? 29-31 July

FILM & COMIC COMICON: Meet Mads Mikkelsen, Kim Coates and Jeremy Renner among other special guests at the London Film & Comic Comicon at Olympia. There will be talks, autograph sessions and stalls of your favourite memorabilia. £15-22, book in advance, 29-31 July

LITTLE CREATURES FESTIVAL: Take your little ones on a Minibeast tour with CBeebies presenter Jess French, or take part in a mock lion rescue. Watch the penguins, sing-along with puppets, or pick from the other events going on an London Zoo's Little Creatures family festival. Included in price of zoo entry, advance booking recommended, 29-31 July

BALHAM FREE FRINGE: See up to 60 hours of live comedy from both new talent and old faces at the Balham Free Fringe. Get to The Bedford early, as there's limited space. Free, just turn up, from 6.50pm on 29 July, and 2.30pm 30-31 July

COLOMBIAN FESTIVAL: Watch Colombian circus troupe Circolombia, tantalise your tastebuds with flavours of Colombia, and have a go at Latin dancing to live music from Grupo Bahia at family-friendly Colombianamente festival near OXO Tower on South Bank. Free, just turn up, 30-31 July

Baked & Battered at MySliceFest.

CLIPPER RACE FINISH: Cheer on over 250 international sailors as they come to the end of their year-long boat race around the world. The sailing parade starts at Tower Bridge and ends in St Katharine Docks, where there will be big screens, live music, and spectator boats. Free, just turn up, 10am

RAGS AND RAILS: Rags and Rails is a fashion and vintage sale taking place at Pop Brixton, with live DJs, art demos and street food alongside the fashion. Free entry, just turn up, 10am-4pm

PIZZA FESTIVAL: Pizza lover? Get yourself down to MySliceFest in Wembley Park. Sample slices of tomatoey-cheesy goodness from independent pizzerias around Britain while listening to live music. £25-49.50, book in advance, from noon

SHOREDITCH STREET PARTY: The theme is 'anything goes' at the Krankbrother's street party on Clifton Street. Dance your socks off in the sun (hopefully) with live music and street food. There's an after party until 4am if you can hack that. £12.50-30.00, book in advance, from 1pm (last entry 5pm)

QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY WALK: Celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday and lengthy reign with a guided walk from the Palace of Westminster to Buckingham Palace visiting sights linked to Queen Elizabeth II and past monarchs. £10, book in advance, 2pm-4pm (repeated every Saturday and Sunday until August)

CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL MASTERCLASS: Zetter Townhouse in Clerkenwell runs cocktail masterclasses where you'll learn how to make five different champagne cocktails. £40, book in advance, 2pm-4pm

HERBAL REMEDY WORKSHOP: Surrey Docks Farm hosts a workshop where you can learn how to make herbal remedies. Learn how to put that sage in your garden to good use, or find out about alternative remedies for a cold. £20, book in advance, 2pm-5pm

1966 WORLD CUP: Relive England's all important victory over Germany on the big screen at Wembley Arena with special guests Bobby Charlton and Geoff Hurst. £26.88-78.38, book in advance, 2.50pm

ARTISTS & BREXIT: Londonist's Visual Arts Editor Tabish Khan is chairing a panel of artists and experts as they discuss how the art community can move forward after Brexit. Suggested donation £6, book in advance, 3pm

TECHNOLOGY & REFUGEES: Discover the role technology plays in the refugee crisis with a panel of refugees, aid workers and data scientists at the Southbank Centre. This will be followed by music from the Calais sessions. Free, just turn up, 6pm

Candlelight Club's summer party.

SECRET 1920S PARTY: Put on your dandiest clothing and party like it's 1920s America at Candlelight Club's Summer Party. Bop to live ragtime and swing music, watch vintage films outdoors and drink Prohibition-inspired drinks in a secret location. £25, book in advance, 7pm

HARRY POTTER MIDNIGHT PARTY: Whether your kids are wizards or muggles, take them for some butterbeer at the midnight launch of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Children's Bookshop, Muswell Hill. Free, just turn up, 11.30pm (or take a look at the other events going on to celebrate the book launch).

See Europa-Park’s Ed Euromaus in London this weekend

For this weekend only, Ed Euromaus — mouse mascot of Germany's Europa-Park theme park — will be touring London on a double-decker bus.

Londoners can get involved and help Ed Euromaus find his #nextstop by tweeting @EdEuromaus to tell him where they've seen the bus and where it's heading to next.

Everyone who gets involved in the search will receive a special Oyster card holder — some of which will contain a free one-week London travelcard. Fans will also have chance to snap a selfie or two with Ed Euromaus along the way, so keep an eye out for the bus this weekend.
