The 2 South London Buildings Up For A Big Prize

Two new buildings in south London are up for a major architectural prize.

Trafalgar Place in Elephant and Castle, and Newport Street Gallery in Lambeth are down to the final shortlist of six for the 2016 RIBA Stirling Prize.

Trafalgar Place is a 'high density housing development' in the much-changing Elephant and Castle, designed by dRMM Architects.

Newport Street Gallery is the new home for the private collection of artist Damien Hirst. Entry to the public is free.
