Watch Films For Free - Outdoors

If you think nothing's free in this world, think again. Vauxhall One's free summer film screenings are back this month.

Every Tuesday throughout July, you can kick back and watch a classic film at Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens without having to pay a penny.

The season begins on Tuesday 5 July with a screening of Wayne's World, followed by 10 Things I Hate About You (12 July) and Ferris Beuller's Day Off (19 July). The final screening, on 26 July is open to the public vote: choose your favourite from My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Full Monty and Groundhog Day, and cross your fingers that it wins. Voting opens closer to the date.

If you are willing to part with a few pennies, you can rent a deckchair to watch the film in a bit of luxury. Food and drink, including burgers, fish and chips and Colombian street food are available to buy on site and enjoy while the film's on.

Summer Screen 2016 takes place 5, 12, 19 and 26 July. Entrance to screenings is free, first come first served, from 7pm. Film begins at sunset. Given the recent weather, a poncho (or snorkel) may be advisable.
