Video: What Are Pink Oyster Readers For?

Ever seen a pink Oyster pad around London's transport system and wondered what it's for? It could be saving you serious money! Check out this video to find out how.

You can look up the price of your journey and see if there is a cheaper way to go here.

Huge thanks to Mike Whitaker and his website Oyster Rail.

The real con is Shoreditch High Street which TFL put in zone 1 thus making it impossible to go from North London line to East London Line without passing through a zone 1 station ! Thus defeating the object of an outer circle service which Overground was intended to provide .

Hopefully, new London Mayor Sadiq can make Shoreditch High Street a joint Zone 1/ 2 station depending on whether you are alighting or boarding Z1 or passing through Z2 something which will increase dramatically when Elizabeth Line opens at Whitechapel .
