MOTCOMB STREET PARTY: The Motcomb Street Party returns to Belgravia tonight with live entertainment in the form of Michael Jackson, Abba and Boy George (tribute acts), plus lashings of food and drink. £10 suggested donation, just turn up, 5.30pm-10.30pm

COFFEE HOUSE SESSIONS: Head to the bar at Soho Theatre for Coffee House Sessions, a free evening of live music. Tonight is the turn of singer-songwriter Ellie Rose. Free, just turn up, 6pm

SUMMER KORFBALL: Highbury Korfball Club is offering free beginner level adult korfball sessions every Wednesday in June and July. The sport is similar to netball and basketball, and is played in mixed teams of four people. Free, just turn up, 7pm-9pm

MICHAEL MORPURGO: Author and former Children's Laureate Michael Morpurgo chats to Gaby Roslin about his novel Private Peaceful. A new hardback edition has been published to mark the centenary of the Battle of the Somme. EURO SHORTS: On the eve of the EU referendum vote, The Book Club in Shoreditch hosts a night of short films celebrating all things European. Free, book in advance, 7pm

Book ahead for the Stand Up To Cancer gala at Greenwich Comedy Festival on 31 July. Comedians including Stewart Francis, Vikki Stone, Matt Richardson, David Morgan, Beth Vyse and Patrick Monaghan take to the stage in aid of Cancer Research UK.
