TATE MODERN: The new Tate Modern building opens to the public today, with plenty of interactive art, and collections from across the world. We had a sneak preview — but be warned, it'll probably be extra busy for the first few days. Permanent collection is free to visit.

THREE WINE MEN: Wine lovers need to get themselves down to the Royal Horticultural Halls in Westminster for Three Wine Men, a two-day festival celebrating all things vino. Experts Oz Clarke, Tim Atkin MW and Olly Smith guide the public through wine tastings. From £27.50, book in advance, 17-18 June

REFERENDUM POP-UP: There's a pop-up exhibition on the EU referendum in a telephone box near Tower Bridge, featuring work by several artists, including official Brexit/Bremain campaign material designers. Free, just turn up, 10am-4pm, 17-19 June

LUNCHTIME LECTURE: Shoreditch's Open Data Institute hosts a free lunchtime talk by artist Giles Lane on how data could be moved away from the screen and into physical and environmental forms, so we can use different senses to understand its meaning. Free, book in advance, 1pm

MASS KARAOKE: Join in with a free mass karaoke session at The Scoop at More London tonight. It's part of the London Bridge City Summer Festival, which has plenty of free events taking place throughout the summer. Free, just turn up, 6.30pm

MACBETH ON FILM: Get your Shakespeare fix at the British Library. Judith Buchanan from the University of York explores the various presentations of Macbeth on film throughout the years, from directors such as Orson Welles, Roman Polanski and Akira Kurosawa. £8, book in advance, 6.30pm

WATER LILLIES AND WINE: Enjoy an evening of relaxation at Hyde Park's Education Centre. Explore the private gardens, take part in a pond-dipping session led by an expert, or simply enjoy the sun terrace with a glass of wine. £18, book in advance, 6.30pm-9pm

FILM CLUB: Coin Street Film Club takes place at the Neighbourhood Centre behind OXO Tower. Toinght's offerings are themed for Refugee Week: Hamsa, a BBC film about a Syrian mother and refugee, and On The Bride's Side, about Palestinians and Syrians who entered Europe via the Italian island of Lampedusa. £5 (includes drinks and snacks), just turn up, 7pm

SUPPER CLUB: Monograph is a Japanese supper club, taking place at a secret location in Hackney. Throughout the four courses, try dishes such as marinated salmon and matcha dorayaki (a Japanese pancake filled with green tea powder custard). £29.90, book in advance, 7pm

COMEDY: Current affairs is viewed with a wry eye, thanks to Little Venice's Newsrevue, the world's longest running live comedy show. With some of the stuff going on in the world right now, you've got to laugh, or you'll cry. £12-£15, prebook, 9pm

Sign up now to take part is the ZSL Swim For Wildlife, a moonlit session at Brockwell Lido in August. By taking part, you'll raise money for the Zoological Society of London (the charity behind London Zoo) which runs wildlife conservation projects both here in the UK and abroad.
