Londonist is proud media partner of the London Cycling Awards.
The London Cycling Awards showcase the enterprise, energy and talent of London's cyclists.
This year, the awards are hosted by Michael Smiley (he played the redoubtable Tyres in north London sitcom Spaced), and take place during Spin — The Cycling Festival at the Truman Brewery on 20 May.
The awards are also a chance for you to vote for your favourite cycling shop. The long list has been whittled down to four exceptional local bike shops, one each for the north, east, south and west of London.
2016's four nominees are:
- North London: Condor Cycles
- East London: Brick Lane Bikes
- South London: Brixton Cycles
- West London: Sigma Sport
Each week Londonist will be showcasing the four nominated shops.
Last year this award was won by Look Mum, No Hands!, for their incredible efforts in building a shop and café that is not only a pleasure to visit but also hosts a range of really interesting cycling focused events, including cycle speed dating and film nights.
Let us know who you think deserves to be crowned Best Bike Shop 2016 by voting here.
Voting closes on 18 May 2016. Everyone who votes will be added to London Cycling Campaign’s prize draw to win a brand new Bobbin cycle.
