Ernő Goldfinger's Brutalist masterpiece, the Trellick Tower, is the setting for an immersive tour on one day in June, as part of the free InTRANSIT festival in Kensington and Chelsea.

To mark 50 years since the building got commissioned, local theatre company Social Political Independent Direct has created a tour of the building, telling the stories of the tower and those who lived in it. It's an excellent chance to explore the inside of this London icon, and for free.

There are three tours, all on the afternoon of 25 June. We reckon they'll be popular so sign up — more details on the InTRANSIT website.

InTRANSIT runs 17-26 June and is mostly free. Hang out in the temporary Portobello Pavilion, be at Dovehouse Green in Chelsea when the clock strikes midday on 18 June for an outdoor performance of music and dance, discover the stories of homeless people hidden in Chelsea Library, or book ahead to learn the secret location of a walking choral performance for Refugee Week.

Kids aren't left out either: take them to meet Paddington Bear at Portobello Market, play flamingo croquet at a performance of Alice in Wonderland and rescue some dinosaurs.

Take a look at everything that's happening at InTRANSIT over on its website.

Expect quite a bit of this. Photo: Helen Scarlett O'Neill.
