See Londoners Who Are High

London from above is a beautiful thing to behold. Now there's a chance to meet Londoners who live their city life high.

The stories of people such as Shameer, who lives in a top flat on the Aylesbury Estate; tree surgeon Ilya; Lee, the leader of the Cannabis is Safer Than Alcohol Party; and Susanna, a young soprano training to hit the highest notes, will be told at a night of short documentary films.

Organised by brilliant documentary project 1,000 Londoners, the 16 May events will showcase nine new short documentaries about Londoners involved in high life one way or another.

The short docs will be interspersed with clips of archive footage showing London from above, and the films will be followed by a Q&A with some of the high life Londoners.

High Life is on 16 May, 7pm, at the Lexi Cinema (tickets £7) and Hackney Attic (tickets £5).
