Who needs the countryside, eh? Highgate's getting its very own sheep show, complete with live sheep shearing and, apparently, a dancing sheep.
It's all part of Fair In The Square, the annual free event taking place in Pond Square. If sheep are a bit too countryside for your city dwelling mind to take, fairground rides, a real fire engine and tower tours at St Michael's Church are all on offer.
Over 100 stalls from local businesses and charities will line the square, selling craft items, books, plants and food.
North London’s own Pearly Kings and Queens will be leading singalongs from the stage, where local choirs, dance groups and musicians will be providing entertainment throughout the afternoon.
The Fair In The Square takes places 11 June, 12.30pm-5.30pm at Pond Square, Highgate. Entry is free.
