You Can Play Sherlock Holmes And Solve Crime At Madame Tussauds' New Immersive Show

If you've ever watched Sherlock, or read one of Arthur Conan Doyle's great novels and thought 'I want to do that', now's your chance.

Madame Tussauds is opening a new immersive experience where you can solve a crime, just like the great detective himself.

And this'll be no frozen waxwork experience — visitors to The Game's Afoot will be able to roam around freely, investigating the sets and interviewing actors, making their own deductions through following a series of individual clues written, hidden in objects or played out by actors.

Created by Les Enfants Terribles, the team behind the superb Alice's Adventures Underground in the vaults under Waterloo station, the evening events complement a new walk-through adventure staged in the atmospheric basement of the attraction, close to the fictional detective's address at 221B Baker Street.

The Game's Afoot costs £45 — you have to sign up to the mailing list to be first to buy tickets. Sherlock Holmes: The Experience opens on 15 July and entry is included in the Madame Tussauds ticket price.
