Go Behind The Scenes At A Building Site

Open Doors is perfect for anyone who's ever wanted to go behind the hoardings on a construction site. Sites around the country will open for the public to see projects in progress, and meet the people working on them.

There are 10 sites available to book in London (though, sorry, the new Design Museum is already full). The map jumps around like crazy, but once you've managed to click on something you can get yourself into the new cardiac care unit at Bart's, a new block being built for families who have children being treated at Guy's and St Thomas's, a new sixth form building at Newham VI College, or even a sewage treatment works.

The visits all take place between 13-18 June but you should probably secure your place as soon as possible.
