Mystery swirls around the question of who made Bridget Jones preggers in the third instalment of the popular franchise based on Helen Fielding's books.
It wasn't Hugh Grant: his slimy Daniel Cleaver from the last two is now gone. It might have been Colin Firth's Mark Darcy, who Jones apparently married and then separated from. Or perhaps it was American hunk Patrick Dempsey who Jones has a fling with after being scooped out of the mud at Glasto. It might even have been Ed Sheeran, judging by the go-to-bed eyes he's giving Renee Zellweger in the trailer above.
The truth is no-one actually knows: apparently they shot three different endings to avoid plot leaks, so not even the cast and crew are sure. (Our prediction is that the kid's going to be ginger.)
The film’s current due date is 16 September, when all paternity claims will be settled.
