Gorgeous Paintings Of London Star In New Book

The capital looks gorgeous in these distinctive paintings by Roger FitzGerald. The illustrations are taken from his new book, Buildings of London.

FitzGerald has practiced as an architect at ADP for 30 years, so has a keen eye for the cityscape. His illustrations include both sweeping panoramas and studies of individual buildings. You'll recognise many famous landmarks, picked out in paints and collage.

But the artist also has an eye for the residential, as seen in this depiction of houses on Pepys Road, New Cross.

The book contains 53 illustrations, accompanied by historical context and well-informed commentary from FitzGerald.

Buildings of London from Artifice Books is available now at some outlets. Available soon on Amazon.
