A Cartoon-y London Panorama Drawn By Hartwig Braun
One of Braun's works, this one is of London looking West. Copyright Hartwig Braun.

London has a magnificent, and ever changing, skyline. So it's great when an artist takes their own unique style to it.

Hartwig Braun has adopted a cartoon-y approach to create this panoramic view of London. It's a work we'd love to see animated as a sweeping sequence across all of London.

But it's just one of his pieces, and he's also completed versions of Battersea and Clapham Junction, and Maritime Greenwich.

Downstairs at Arty Globe in Greenwich there is the chance to see his sketches and works in progress. We've seen Braun's work before at a Crossrail dig site and featured some of his earlier work and we're happy to see some of his latest efforts.

You can buy a slice of Braun to take home, choosing from the massive down to very affordable prints. And if artwork to hang on the wall isn't your thing, Braun's designs have been transferred to scarves, ties, jigsaw puzzles, mugs and many other products.

Hartwig Braun's work can be bought from Arty Globe, 15 Greenwich Market, SE10 9HZ. Map fiends should also check our Visscher Redrawn at Guildhall Art Gallery.
