Free Guided Walks All Over London This Weekend
Participation on the Walk London Autumn Ambles 2015

Polish off your walking boots, pack your sandwiches and explore London with TfL and Walk London's weekend of Winter Wanders.

The 43 free guided strolls range in territory from green parkland to city views. All are led by experienced guides, and range from 1 mile to 9.7 miles in length.

For those who want to take it easy, the 1 mile Piccadilly Line walk from Green Park to Covent Garden celebrates TfL’s Transported by Design programme and covers the history of the line.

If you like a dollop of culture with your physical activity, visit locations used in London-based films and television shows. Elsewhere, spies, spooks and spires are well represented.

New for this year are several family-friendly routes, including a 1.6 mile City stroll based on children's book Goodnight Mr Tom, and a chance to play Animal I-Spy (booking required).

Why not take the opportunity to venture out of the centre of town? Walks reach out as far as Richmond, Carshalton, Canary Wharf and Turkey Street. Explore the full list here.

Walk London Winter Wanders Weekend takes place 23-24 January. All walks are free and most don't require booking — check individual walks for details.
