"They Need It More Than Me": Boy Donates Coat Off His Own Back

Yesterday morning, we spent some time with the volunteers for the Wrap Up London coat appeal at Highbury & Islington station. While we were there, we saw some wonderful acts of human kindness, but none more so than this lovely act.

Office design company K2 Space, who have offered their logistics services to Wrap Up London for free, were filming some volunteers, when a young boy was cycling past in the background. The boy cycled off before returning a couple of minutes later and donating the coat that he was wearing. Volunteer Josh asked the boy whether he needed the coat or whether his mum would mind, but the boy simply replied "these people need it more than me".

Makes you proud to be a Londoner, doesn't it?
